I feel my best when I am in balance. Given the hectic lives we all lead that is sometimes next to impossible. When I know I am challenged in the balance end of things I make certain to eat very well, get rest and exercise.

Breakfast is a given for me. I also try and be sure to have healthy snacks in between meals. An apple and a handful of raw almonds is perfect for me. What's the old adage... Eat like a Queen in the morning, a Princess in the afternoon and a Pauper in the evening ... I think it might have some truth.

Water is also very important. There is a theory that says to drink 1/2 of your bodies weight in ounces. If you weigh 100 lbs that would be 50 oz. I actually try to follow this rule. It isn't for everyone but water is the elixir of life so I try...

And that wonderful shot of endorphin... Exercise. 30 minutes 5 times a week is really quite easy. It doesn't have to be elaborate just enough to get your heart rate up a bit. Our bodies are machines that were meant to move.. So I try and move...
