Tracy Elizabeth Hawes, CLMT Happy New Year 2010

2010 is here. Salute! I remember sitting in my 5th grade science class watching a movie on this date "in history". We where flying in spaceship's that acted like cars and eating our meals Jetson style ... With the push of a button ... Judy Jetson would choose her ingredients for the meal she would be serving and then a pill would appear on a plate ... Dinner! Yummy. Funny thing is I think we just might be there after all. Our cars are gaining momentum toward solar power and for goodness… Continue

Sheehan Training Hate Cardio … but not today

Tom has written about the cardio woes before, and I too am one of those people that just dreads doing cardio work. Don’t get me wrong, I dutifully run, step, spin, and Arc most days of the week, but out of necessity for good health and well-being, not because I love it. This morning was a little different for me. Sue Lost in Space!

I have just had my 49th birthday and suddenly I am overwhelmed with so many feelings that I am not able to even put them in print. I feel this urgency to do something, but I am not sure what it is! I feel lost like the Robinson's on Lost in Space. I don't know what my purpose here is or if I even have a purpose here. This is a scary time for me, but anxiety and fear causes action so it must be what I need to feel at this time to get me to the place where I need to be. Continue

Tracy Elizabeth Hawes, CLMT What Do You Do To Feel Your Best?

I feel my best when I am in balance. Given the hectic lives we all lead that is sometimes next to impossible. When I know I am challenged in the balance end of things I make certain to eat very well, get rest and exercise. Breakfast is a given for me. I also try and be sure to have healthy snacks in between meals. An apple and a handful of raw almonds is perfect for me. What's the old adage... Eat like a Queen in the morning, a Princess in the afternoon and a Pauper in the evening ... I think i… Continue
